You've done the work. Let the race do the rest.
The pursuit of the sub-3:00 marathon starts here. Breaking 3 is more than just a race; it is a meticulously engineered environment designed for one purpose: breaking barriers. Held on the lightning-fast, USATF-certified loops of Rockland Lake State Park, this event eliminates the variables of traditional marathons to give runners their best shot at the "Valhalla" of amateur running.
Our history speaks for itself. In previous editions, over 80% of our finishers have walked away with a Boston Marathon qualifying time, making us one of the highest-percentage BQ races in the country. From producing Olympians to seeing nearly 70% of our field set massive personal bests, this course is where the "impossible" becomes the official result.
Every detail is deliberate.
These benefits are not just for the "elite field" or the "professional race."
When you race with us, you ARE the elite field.

What execution looks like.
The course and pacing structure made the difference. I'd never had a race where I could actually execute the plan.

Running. Honestly.
We love PRs and fast splits but we also acknowledge that 96% of this sport is pooping in the woods and legs that inexplicably feel like lead. We connect runners through dry, self-aware storytelling that reflects the honest experience of distance running.
